The extensive original research involved was conducted at the University of Minnesota Laboratory of Physiological Hygiene, which Dr. Keys heads. The authors, all of the laboratory staff, were assisted in preparation of the work by Ernst Simonson, Samuel Wells and Angie Sturgeon Skinner.

Very interesting read. It is long and dense, but has great information on human starvation and the Minesota experiment. Will use it for my future studies and research.

Great Book

Dr Billo turned me onto this book. It is a sentinel piece on human starvation, a ready made experiment in Eastern Europe at the close of WW2. Probably cannot ever be duplicated again. For those of us who see deaths from starvation, this book is quite helpful.
